So these 14 days I have been working on the unicorn (pattern link). With my class mates we were doing a project about a ship with the same name - HMS Unicorn - last semester. So I think it's sweet reminder for our class teacher to give her something similar with the same name.

Living with the Machine Human-generated fiction in an AI world
Title: Living with the Machine Human-generated fiction in an AI world
Autor: Nethergate writers
Language: English
The book includes 11 short stories about human and AI interactions which are critical for humanity. In the stories people are still on the edge of getting used to the machines where they are very weary of the robot interaction and they aren't trusting these new machines. I would say that all of the short stories are good for considering the possible outcome in our real world even though this is only fiction. In my opinion It's something how some people are approaching AI now as well.
What I liked the most from the stories is the first one about the captain where AI saved not only other robots but also humans as the other party (of humans, who wanted to abuse AI and experiment) in a play didn't have best intention for either species.
Would I recommend the book? Definitely if you like to take into consideration different view of the AI and the world and let yourself think.

As One Thing Ends, a New Adventure Begins

Hi all,
so after almost 3 years, our group had been told that we are not going to make the magazine anymore. It's a sad news for all of us as we really enjoyed working on it. Unfortunately, due to financial struggles across all charity sectors, charities are doing cuts in funding and it also touched our group.
All members of the group has been deeply touched by the news as the magazine was their support network in their own life as they have some struggles of their own. Despite of that, I felt for a long time that I didn't belong there anymore. Over time, I've been slowly moving on with experience and life goals owing to college, hobbies and my energetic nature where I want to do 329042394 at once.
That said, It doesn't mean I'm not sad, I think that I'm not hit that hard by the news. I took the whole bitter sweet experience as a beginning of a new adventure as I have more time for something new in my life for example: I would like to join a new crochet group and in the new college year make my own crochet group for students. Pick up a brush more often and do some art or painting/decorating without worrying that I will be missed somewhere else.
I met great people within those 3 years working at the magazine which I'm grateful for. With some of them our friendship is going to continue and I believe that we will meet here and there again.
