PocketMod

Last summer, I came across a small notebook designed for drawing or painting, inspired by the idea of compact travel sketchbooks. This week, I stumbled upon a YouTube video featuring a similar concept, called a PocketMod.

The PocketMod is made from a single sheet of A4 paper, folded into eight small sections to create a compact notebook. It’s incredibly convenient because of its size—you can carry it anywhere. You’ll need scissors to make one small cut, but everything is clearly explained in the videos linked below. I also added my own guidelines to the template I’m sharing. Solid lines indicate where to fold, and the dotted line shows where to cut (you fold the paper in half lengthwise first, then cut along the dotted section).

I have found some templates here: click and also here. The first link has also a guide.

I customized one of the templates to suit my needs—a to-do calendar where I can freely jot down my schedule and notes. If you’d like to try it, feel free to download it! :)

There’s also a great video where a man explains what the PocketMod is for and demonstrates how to fold it:
