In a world where AI has rapidly gained popularity, it has slowly started to substitute human power and intellect. Unsurprisingly, many individuals have been trying to learn the new toolkit ‘AI’ and incorporate it in their workflow - not just stay relevant or profit, but most dishearteningly, to avoid being replaced entirely.
Consequently, companies have been trying to outsource manpower for cheaper labour AI-powered alternatives to cut the cost. However, cheaper solutions don't often mean better ones. AI isn’t able to think as a human and when it does it will raise another concern. For now it isn’t innovative and is learning from us humans generating and recycling works of authors and artists who took years and years of hard work to create something which has been theirs.
However, in all that gloom and doom of modern day, there is a silver lining where some people are using AI only as a tool just as a pure inspiration or helping them to check upon their grammar. In addition, It has been a great tool for learning how to do something as oftentimes materials on the internet or humans by themselves can’t explain some subjects clearly. Moreover, writers or designers are fighting with their own brain fatigue or a block. Although Ai can lack human depth, it can provide some inspiration to nudge the person in the right direction to create their own artwork or written piece.
At the end of the day, how we choose to use the AI determines its impact on humanity. It can serve as a great tool which helps to learn and improve writing, check your grammar, generate ideas or discover new ideas or inspiration. Nonetheless, it can also become harmful if people misuse it and replace human labour without considering long term consequences as in current time we don’t have any safety fallback if jobs are being cut and people can be hurt in the long run. Ultimately, the responsibility for how we use AI lies on the shoulders of humans.
